Thank You Pointers Parents!

A huge thank you to all Pointers families for their incredibly generous donation for Greenwich Foodbank as part of our annual Harvest Festival. We filled up the Greenwich Foodbank van and there were still 20 bags left! The Foodbank representative has to return again because we brought so much food!

While this was an incredibly successful event, it’s important for us to remember that in order to feed all the families who visit the Foodbank regularly, the van has to be filled three times a week! Let’s make this Harvest Festival the beginning of a tradition of giving – not just a one off event!

St John’s Church Blackheath is a donation point for the Foodbank year round so why not make it your family weekly tradition to buy a few extra bits every week? We welcome any child who would like to donate to the Foodbank on a weekly basis by bringing their donations with them to school and we will take them to church with us on Fridays.
