Location: Pointers - Room 8

The class will be built around focused technique development exercises, storytelling and improvisation games, examples from literature, and working on child-led projects with 1-2-1 feedback from the experienced writer leading the class. We will also run regular sharing sessions in the style of a traditional writing workshop, where children will practice essential skills in giving verbal feedback on their peers' work, and reading their own writing to the group with confidence. This term the theme will be Medieval Madness. Inkheads will dive into a world of castles, enchanted forests, fire-breathing dragons, and brave (or bumbling!) knights. Through guided prompts, storytelling games, and fun writing challenges, your child will craft their very own medieval adventure tale—packed with humour, heart, and heroic twists!
