Fridays 3:45pm - 4:45pm
Location: Pointers - Room 8
The class will be built around focused technique development exercises, storytelling and improvisation games, examples from literature, and working on child-led projects with 1-2-1 feedback from the experienced writer leading the class. We will also run regular sharing sessions in the style of a traditional writing workshop, where children will practice essential skills in giving verbal feedback on their peers' work, and reading their own writing to the group with confidence. This term our theme will be 'Space & Sci-Fi': think galaxies, stars, rockets and adventures! Help your child blast into storytelling with exciting sci-fi adventures. Young writers explore new worlds, invent characters, and build confidence in their creativity and writing skills. Perfect for children who enjoy reading, imagination, and fun challenges. Run by experienced, DBS checked creative writing tutors & writers.
