About Taekwondo

Location: Hervey Road Sports Ground

This club takes place at Hervey Road indoor sports hall. Taekwondo is the art of self-defence that originated in Korea. It is recognized as one of the oldest forms of martial arts in the world. The name was selected for its appropriate description of the art: Tae (foot), Kwon (hand), Do (art). As well as learning self-defence, your child will benefit from a great fitness session. It is also great for character building, building confidence and self-discipline. Taekwondo is one of our most popular after school clubs. Please note this is an 8 week term as there are no clubs on Bank Holiday Monday the 4th of May
