Welcome back to school everyone! It has been wonderful to walk around the school and see all the pupils busy getting to know their new classes and working hard! Here’s a selection of our back to school activities.

Our first Parent Workshop of the year will be a first aid course provided by Medibabies! Medibabies aims to keep children safe through education of parents and caregivers on medical topics. Run by doctors, their sessions focus on the first aid a parent may need to use in the home. We are very proud of our Year 6 pupil Nuriah who qualified to represent London and the whole of the South East at the ISA National Athletics competition. The competition took place in Birmingham on 19th June. Nuriah ran a superb race and won a well-deserved silver medal, missing out on the gold by 0.16 of a second. Well done to Nuriah on such a fantastic achievement.

Our first annual International Day was amazing! The parents and children really outdid themselves with their national outfits and international cuisine they brought in to share with others. Our school is blessed to have families representing almost 40 nationalities and it was fantastic to see the pride that children took in sharing their family’s background. Thank you to all staff and parent helpers for another successful summer fair! The weather was perfect and we had more families come than ever before! The School Council raised over £300 for Kent Search and Rescue through selling delicious lemonade. Stalls ranged from Hit the Can to nail painting. As usual, the Bouncy Castle was the most popular stall with the Sports Department’s Water Blaster being a close second. […]
