Just before half term, the lifting of Covid restrictions allowed the Nursery children to go on their first ever school trip! Excitement levels were at fever pitch as we ventured by coach to The Discover Story Centre in Stratford. Many of the children had never been on a coach before - travelling on such a big vehicle, sitting next to a friend whilst looking out of the windows and seeing so many new sights on our journey was a highlight in itself!
Once we arrived at the centre we were greeted by our amazing 'Storyteller' called Valentine - he let us explore the magical 'Imagination World' before we came together to create our own story. Using their imaginations the children told Valentine their thoughts and ideas, he then re-told the story the children had imagined called 'Julia The Unicorn', it was AMAZING and the children were thrilled that they had created their own story! We learned that we are all storytellers and have the most vivid imaginations!
The children had such a fabulous day and we now can't wait to visit the local Fire Station this term!
