Fridays 3:45pm - 4:45pm
Location: Pointers - Room 6
Join us in the summer term at Inkhead creative writing clubs to build your child’s confidence and writing fluidity. Let them discover the joy of creating their own stories, crafting poems and letting their imaginations lose on the page. Years 5 & 6: Do you wish the world was different? Go to the limits of your imagination and create new worlds of utopias and dystopias: the best places and the worst places. What would it look like; how would you survive? Come to the inkhead creative writing club and write the stories you want to write, delving into your amazing imaginations. The class will be built around focused technique development exercises, storytelling and improvisation games, examples from literature, and working on child-led projects with 1-2-1 feedback from the experienced writer leading the class. We will also run regular sharing sessions in the style of a traditional writing workshop, where children will practice essential skills in giving verbal feedback on their peers' work, and reading their own writing to the group with confidence.
